  2. A product measurements would need to meet the person using it for the product to be comfortable

  3. To make a product comfortable (ergonomic), we need to measure the suitable length for the customer (anthropometric), so that it can be comfortable for the customer as it takes some measurement for the customer.

  4. The ergonomics of a product depend on the anthropometry of humans. eg. To ensure that a table is comfortable and safe, you need to first find the measurement of the height of a human sitting down.

  5. when you want to how to make a product safe and comfortable(ergonomics), you need Anthropometric data like what be be the height and the size of product, etc.

  6. Ergonomic (comfort and safety) greatly depends on anthropometry (measure of human size).
In order to be more comfortable using a certain product, the anthropometry/measurement must be correct.

  7. They are related because one needs measurements to build a product and make sure it is the most comfortable.

  8. Ergonomics, or the safe and comfort of the consumer of the product, uses anthropometry to find the way to have comfortable use and safe use of the product

  9. A person needs objects reasonably sized and its size needs to meet its users preferences. It would be difficult to use if it was too big or too small

  10. Kok Yin:
Proper ergonomic design is necessary to prevent repetitive strain injuries, which can develop over time and can lead to long-term disability and anthropometry refers to the measurement of the human individual for the purposes of understanding human physical variation. Statistical data about the distribution of body dimensions in the population are used to optimize products which helps Ergonomic designs.

  11. people will buy the product if they are easy to use and comfortable

  12. First, ergonomics are used to measure the lengths and widths of the product, and anthropometry is used in measuring the product again on whether it is suitable for the customer.

  13. They are related, in that a product would need to be suitable for the person, so that they can be comfortable. In case I'm not clear, an example is clothes. If the clothes are too large or small for the wearer, he will not feel comfortable.

  14. To make a product which provide optimum comfort and also to avoid stress or injury (Ergonomic product), a product must have a feasible proportions and measurement similar to a human body(Anthropometric product).

  15. Ergonomics is the science of designing a product, but anthropometry is the measurement of the human body. It is related in a sense, that, to fulfill of having a good product, one would need ergonomics to design the product, and also would need anthropometry to ensure that the user is using the product at ease.

  18. Ergonomics Relationship with Anthropometry: In ergonomics, anthropometric data are used to design workspaces, safety equipment and personal protection tools considering the differences between the characteristics, abilities, and physical limits of any particular human body.

  22. Ergonomics is the design of a product considering the user's health and utility. In Ergonomics, Anthropometry is the consideration of the posture of the human body to the product
